Book Review - Bible Stories for Preschoolers

Let me start by saying – this is by far the very best kids Bible story book I have ever seen!

All 49 Bible stories are fully detailed in bright, vibrant colored illustrations done by Andrzej Chalecki. Kids are so visual at this age and will love the fun, colorful, simple illustrations.

I love the fact that that each story is not limited to one page like most Children's Bibles are. By making the stories span 4- 7 pages, the author is not rushing through the story. She includes interactions in the text such as, "Close your eyes. Now, what do you see? You don't see anything, do you? Everything is dark." My kids really liked being able to interact with the story.

My ten year old loves to read this book to her four year old brother – and they enjoy doing the activities together!

Another great feature of this Bible Story book, are the pages that follow the story titled "Family Time".

The Family Time pages are activities written to engage the whole family. Kids not only have the opportunity to hear the story, but to apply the story in a way they'll understand.

-The "Talk" sections gives the parent or reader a few questions to discuss with the child to help them remember and apply the story. -The "Do" section is an activity (make a craft, eat something etc.) that reviews the message of the story.

-And the "Remember" section shares a Bible verse that relates to the lesson learned and helps kids remember scripture.

This is a book I would strongly recommend to any parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, or anyone who has, or comes into contact, or even knows a little one between the ages of two and ten!

The book is a nice size too, not too big, not too small - overall, this book is beautifully put together inside and out!

The stories are engaging and the pictures are memorable. Plus, I guarantee the family time section will make your family devotions more memorable, less prep and lots of fun!
