A Healthy Immune System Matters Against Viruses and the Coronavirus
A good, healthy immune system matters the most against viruses.... but how can you keep your body healthy?
1. Try not to stress! When we are stressed or anxious our cortisol levels go up and that lowers our immune system, so reducing physical and mental stress will help reduce the risk of getting Coronavirus.
2. Get enough sleep. Getting that eight hours of sleep a night is huge because if we are not well rested our bodies immune system doesn't work like it should.
3. Get up and moving. Regular exercise has been shown to boost our immune system. Go outside, take a walk, breath some fresh air.
4. Load up on fruits, veggies and antioxidants. Healthy food gives our body the energy it needs to keep going every day. Put down the processed food, soda and candy.
5. Take all natural whole food supplements and vitamins to keep our immune systems the healthiest. A strong immune system needs powerful nutrition.
6. Wash your hands! Clean hands are one of the best defenses against disease. Keep your hands clean and soft with a hand wash that is mild, sudsy, and moisturizing.
7. Keep your home disinfected and clean with Basic-G® Germicide***
Kill Germs and Viruses - it is a powerful multipurpose germicide to disinfect, clean, and deodorize. Effective against 30 types of bacteria and 26 types of viruses, including human Coronavirus. Use it in the kitchen, bathroom, or any hard, nonporous surfaces.
Here's the deal.... the media is making too big of a deal out of the corona virus outbreak. We’re constantly exposed to germs, and we only get sick from a handful of those. If you are reasonably young and healthy, the likely scenario if you catch the infection is, you’ll be sick for a while and you will recover.
From a public-health perspective, when nasty viruses such as Coronavirus are doing the rounds, the priority is protecting the vulnerable people. Older people don’t respond that well to the flu, it’s a general problem of immune decline with ageing. (When we get older, the barrier function in the gut doesn’t work that well, so you have something called leaky gut syndrome, where bugs creep into our bodies causing mild infections. This causes inflammation, as does the natural accumulation of old “zombie” cells, called senescent cells, and inflammation then compromises the immune response.)
The outbreak isn't currently considered a pandemic, however, despite its rapid spread. But the World Health Organisation has declared it a global public-health emergency.
Here's some facts; 82,000 People are sick with Coronavirus at the moment, of which 77,000 are in China. This means that if you are not in, or haven't recently visited China, this should eliminate 94% of your concern.
If you do contract Coronavirus, this still is not a cause for panic because: 81% of the Cases are MILD, 14% of the Cases are MODERATE, and Only 5% of the Cases are CRITICAL. Which means that even if you do get the virus, you are most likely to recover from it.
Moreover, looking at the ages of those who are dying of this virus, the death rate for the people UNDER 50 years of age is only 0.2% This means that: if you are under 50 years of age and don't live in China - you are more likely to win the lottery (which has a 1 in 45,000,000 chance) than to die from Coronavirus!
Here's some perspective - for example, on the 10th of February, when 108 people in CHINA died of Coronavirus. On the same day: 26,283 people died of Cancer. 24,641 people died of Heart Disease. 4,300 people died of Diabetes. Suicide took 28 times more lives (that's 3,024 lives) than the virus did. Abortion kills 136,986 babies worldwide every single day (1,708 daily just in the USA alone). Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day, and Snakes kill 137 people every day. That is all.
Stay safe, be responsible, and stop freaking out!!!!

†COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2, a novel coronavirus. Basic-G kills similar viruses and therefore can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Adenovirus type 7 on hard. Annually there over 3-5 million cases of the flu. Up to 600,000 people die of this virus every year.
